    Nike claims that this design honors the selfless style of play of the Dutch National Team – their teamwork, passing style and “total football.” The chevron pattern reflects their fluid style of soccer that involves players interchanging and filling each other’s positions.

    As with the Netherlands’ 2014 home kit from Nike, this 2014 away kit also features an updated team badge to honor the team’s 125th anniversary with the founding year of Royal Dutch Football Association – 1889 along with 2014 – below it. As with the home, the away will also feature a new style for player names and numbers on the back, the crown inside the collar and orange trim inside the cuffs,
    which can be turned out based on player style.
